Ladies and Gents,
The GAA have lost one of the true greats/legends of our time.......a outstanding and no nonsense defender, a leader of great men on and off the field, a great manager to many teams, especially the kingdom. A sad lose for his family, club and county. He'll be remembered as true GAEL........RIP PAIDI

Páidí was an idol for any young back growing up in the 70s and 80s. He had that style all of his own - the collar pulled up, the familiar gait, the head bobbing up and down as he tore up the field. He was a pure rogue off the field and lived a great life. His love for Corca Dhuibhne, for Kerry and for football oozed out of his every pore. I'll never forget how humble he was after the 1998 All Ireland semi final. That loss to his former mentor cut him deep but his graciousness in defeat that day showed the measure of the man.

Sad news...very sad news of a caragh gaa player aswell who died last week,paul dwyer...may they both rest in peace...thoughts are with both there families during such a tough time to lose a loved one
