| If teams tied on same points does it come down to goal difference or direct confrontation does anyone know? | |

| if its only 2 teams level on points it comes down to the result of their game, if more than two teams then its score difference I think | |

| Towers relegated.....anyone now the last time this happened? must be a lot more to it than meets the eye considering Dave Murphy had to walk away from them early this year. | |

| not for a long time I would suspect, a lot of clubs got through these periods, look at clane, allenowood and even sarsfields in recent years but they seem to bounce back the next season | |

| Athy and Naas were in Division 2 within the last 4 or 5 years , but id say Towers decline is more constant and possibly longer lasting than most of the recent examples cited .Saw them a few times over the last couple of years and they were really low on scoring ability .Were Towers relegated to intermediate a few years befor the 96 senior championship year or is that a figment of my imagination ?! | |

- Lads if both Miltown and Ballymore win next week does this not mean that ballyteague could be pulled into the battle to stay up?? Did Clogerinkoe win yesterday against castledermot??
On another note would league semi finals not prevent so many dead rubers ??? Realistically Ballymore need the win cause they were beaten by Milltown earlier so a draw would not be sufficient if both Milltown and Ballymore were on on 11 points. If its a 3 way tie Milltown's score will prob go against them.

| Wasn't at the game but hear that result is correct. Hear it was a swamp at it. All games must be played before next weekend though I hear | |

Never nice to go down,im sure yee will come straight back up. I believe ballymore won by 2 points yesterday and looking at their results over last 3 games they have really turned the corner. In fact Milltown had similar results so Just shows how important getting a goos start in league is. Had to ask why they a had a point taken off them and from what I heard Kilcock GAA should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. No place for that in Gaa or any sport, especially under such tragic circumstances.

Thanks totheline...I hope you're right. 3 wins from 3 in the last 3 games makes it a bit hard to take...but perhaps it just means we're coming right for the championship! Not sure what the incident is you're talking about?

| Your right totheline about Kilcock it was poor form on their behalf, Ballymore will be happy the deducted point didn't have a bigger bearing on the outcome of the relegation battle.

| Anyone know what the story is with Kilcullen this year lads? They had a reasonably good year last year being intermediate semi finalists and seemed to be a well organised side. | |

| Ballymore got permission from the county board to postpone their match v Kilcock due to some of their players were travelling with the man that died while in Poland at the euro's. The match and funeral clashed and as a result Ballymore requested the match be postponed which was granted by county board as long as Kilcock agreed but Kilcock wouldn't agreed and I think they togged out got the ball thrown in by the ref and took the points. As a result Ballymore were deducted points for not showing up! | |
