Nice to have four home games again but you'd have to wonder why we're away to Cork and home to Kerry again this year. It couldn't be that hard for the GAA to have a standard set of fixtures for every team that are just mirrored in each successive season where you'd have the top team promoted taking the place of the previous year's 7th placed team.

Edit: ANd the Derry game is the Owenbeg centre of excellence in Dungiven. While it's not any easier to get to than Derry city, the fact that it's in a new ground will make it far more likely that I'll make the trip than if it had been in Celtic Park. And the other two away games are handy to get to so it's a good fixture list for Kildare.

Tough run, could be looking at winning the last couple of games - the most winnable - to stay up. Then again, a lot depends on how seriously the likes of Kerry and Mayo take it, what sort of teams they field and what sort of position the heavyweights are in when we comes across them.

Does Kildare's mounting injury list provide Jason Ryan with a get out of jail card for the National League, or even for the year as a whole.

Just a though and putting it out there?

Apparently it's the start of a new cycle in the league fixtures that's how we have Kerry, Tyrone at home again and Cork away with the reverse fixtures next year.

Doesn't look like J Ryan will have any get out of jail card lol!

Presume Setanta still have the Saturday night games so our game against the Dubs on March 7th will most likely be live. Don't think we have any other Saturday evening games.
