| Both reds seemed fairly innocuous although they were called by the linesman so he obviously saw something. Well out of order for the red carded Miltown player to run on to the field to challenge his opposite number at the whistle. Was obviously thinking of himself and not his teammates. Was the catalyst for the melee. Hopefully referee has it noted as it wasn't pleasant to witness | |

A funny game really. A second half scoreline of Nurney 6-1 Suncroft 0-3 says it all. The floodgates opened once they took away their sweeper.

| Sir Gazelle, your entitled to your version of events and I know theres always two sides to a story but ah come on "followed and appealed to the referee and returned to his team mates who were going to the Kilcullen end where they eventually warmed down" :D . yes the player appealed to the ref etc , he was then dragged away by his team mates to the sideline area. He ran back across to try to get at the Ballykelly player (held back, dragged back etc)and as Father ted said he was the clear catalyst for the riot/punch up, its a tough one on any man to miss a final and I did not see what he originally did so cant comment it, but his conduct sparked it all off at the end with several others taking up the batton for him. In fairness to Milltown management they ran out to try and stop it with the big fella in the tracksuit taking a severe punch to the side of the head for his peacemaking efforts followed by the younger guy who also was also punched and then had to obviously defend himself. Milltown can count themselves lucky 5 or 6 more players are not facing bans for their part in the melee, a lot of milltown stayed out but you wouldnt think they were in a final by the conduct of 5/6 of them.. County Chairman and his staff had a front row seat to the action so could be further trouble for both clubs. As for two sides to the story Sir Gazelle ,the two videos going around twitter tell their own story. | |

| Oh Kildare Castle I hope this is not a gallant attempt to inflict punishment on your opponents before you meet them in the final he he. By the way well done to Rheban I think you will take Milltown in the final. | |

| No, no ,no Sir Gazelle theres no gallant attempt at all, I will admit after a nights sleep to maybe overacting to your perceived original "move along nothing to see here, shur it was nutthin " post. And I highly doubt sh*te talk by keyboard warriors on a chat page will get anyone punished by CCC (at least for Kildare gaa sake I hope to god it doesn't) so Ill say no more on it. Back to the football, Milltown will still be firm favorites to win out and are no way a one man team. Yes its the same Milltown knocking on the door for last few years but the determination, tenacity, and heart is a sight to see. The veterans Owens, Omar etc are in flying form while the full back is an outstanding footballer and key to their frugal defense imo, I wont even mention the form of the full forward his scoring stats say it all. One example of this tenacity was yesterday with 5 players chasing down 1 ballykelly man like wild dogs . Rheban if they produce the form of the second half of Caragh game will take fair stopping but have struggled at times this year, but will no doubt be well up for it, should make for great final. On a side note both teams I imagine will be eying nervously some of the bigger name clubs potentially in for the intermediate relegation battle so will hope to get out quick with a piece of silverware. | |

| What happened after the Ballykelly/Milltown game yesterday was the strangest thing I ever seen, the row actually started between the Milltown players themselves and one of their management team at the dugout in front of the stand. To be fair the big Miltown guy in the track suit did his best to contain it. It then spilled in among the Ballykelly players and all hell broke loose then. It's a pity because it was a good game that was refereed very poorly but played is a sporting manner. The 2 red cards was a shocking decision with the Milltown player being the biggest loser. 5 minutes from the end with 3 points between them he black carded the Ballykelly no 9, nobody could see why. This had a huge impact on the last few miinutes as he was one of Ballykellys best players. | |

| Ye the black card for the Ballykelly man and the injury were two killer blows, two good players for them, would have loved to see more quick ball into young Moore in the forward line he is an excellent young fella and can be a real game changer if supplied. Well done to Ballykelly though huge improvements all year and a lot to look forward to with a youngish squad | |

| Kilcock vs sallins was like watching paint dry. Kilcock never got out of first gear and still won by a large margin! Was very impressed with nurney. Wont fear clogherinkoe in the next round

Lets see how Eamonn Gets on when playing agaisnt stronger Opposition, it was hard to take a gauage of how well Naas were moving against Raheens. Raheens didnt win a game in the championship yet Castledermot who did win a game could potentially be relegated, something doesnt add up

Yep. Money talks again. So if you’ve lost both games to team 1 and 2 and you’ve a better score difference than team 4 a draw will do this weekend.... Beat a team who then finishes second in a group and you’re into a quarter final after five matches..... But they’ll say it’s all about more games. As I said Iomond. Raheens drew their last game and finished second from bottom and Castledermot won one but had inferior score difference and finished bottom. Yep strange no doubt.

is not shock Aylmer Gael and Eadestown beating Newbridge the clubs . Aylmer gaels lost to Nass by 5 points in league final . Eadestown finished third in league .sarsfields finished second and Moorefield bottom of Division 1 Minor League. If Clane win tonight means the top four in league are in semifinal of championship
