Was always going to happen, whoever is the PR dept in the GAA should be given a holding statement to cover things like this instead of the sweeping statements that happened here and with Kildare.... maybe 'the GAA are open to discussions regarding this event within the rules and confines laid out'

Common sense prevails and rightly so. Only concern is why the organisers are stating that they will now need an attendance of 30,000 to justify the move from Turners Cross, surely if Turners Cross holds 7,500 and even 15,000 attend now then the move is justified.

Is it to do with cost of extra stewards/guards, one would imagine/hope that stewards would be giving of their time voluntarily for an event such as this?

jayses moat thats a really silly post
Look as most on here have agreed its been a complete og by the GAA.....and some of their former officers...
on the other side i have always been a great admirer of Damien Duff as a player ...but i disagree with his recent comments..
Cork was the only place for this game
So to the few detractors......lets work together....help the Miller Family and the various charities who will benifit from this Game.....
