| For sure most of us here including me are football die hards...... but I found myself heading south 3 times last year to hurling matches where I might have gone to a neutral football game instead and definitely got better entertainment value......... | |

| You can have all the rule changes you like in football, it won't charge the fact that Dublin are a professional team playing in an amateur competition while playing 90% of their games at home. Until this changes attendances will dwindle and interest is lost. People now realise the GAA have rigged the system in Dublin's favour and they are unwilling to spend hard earned money supporting that.

| Anyone watching the Ulster Club Final last Sunday would have to see that any change in Rules re the handpass has to be looked at. . 10,20 and 30 handpasses by both Teams, and still in their own half of the field.. chronic. | |

| I thnk the hand pass rule (max of 3) is a good idea up to the opposition 45 but I believe from there a team should be able to attack the opposition as they wish, I think the Corofin goal from the club final this year which was a brilliant team move had 10-15 consecutive hand passes in the build up to it. | |

| The problem with large amounts of consecutive hand passes is often there is no purpose to it, other than retaining possession winding down the clock, this is the type of football we should be looking to get rid of I agree completely but I definitely don't want to see us introduce any rule that will prevent goals like that Corofin one. | |

| How could he ignore the allegations that Dubs players are paid to play ?
That silly allegation was even repeated here.............
Rather than being annoyed he seems to be taking the p*ss..............
