Didn't see a thread about him, just wanna say what a player gave his all for the jersey, scored some wonderful goals and points for us, most notably against Down and Dublin and delighted he got that point against Mayo was the winning of the game for me. Some man to win a breaking ball, very intelligent versatile player.

Thank you Leper.

A man who played in every outfield position for Kildare from Micko to Ciano, who stayed on because Kildare needed men like him when so many of the leaders had gone and the culture of old had been diluted. He was about demanding standards - and those standards had slipped post 2012. Played O'Byrne Cup when just married, stayed on til now at 35 as a newly-married man with a kid because he loved it, loved playing for Kildare and Roli and Enda and Cian would have been desperate to have men of his ilk in the set up. People that questioned why he was there always missed that point. A fantastic finisher, a tremendous brain and it was great he had Mayo.
