Disappointed to see Ballymore beaten.. poor showing by our 3 Club's in Leinster.. although it looks like the Monasterevin v Mattock Rangers was the top 2 teams in that grade.

Yea it looks bad on a footballing perspective for the county, Sarsfields had no ambition to go for Leinster only happy to beat their neighbours in Kildare who by the way have two Leinster titles sad for the county really.

I see Mick Fennin stepped down last night after a huge number of years looking after appointing referees to fixtures. Was always at the end of the phone and could zero in on a fixture within seconds whatever he was doing at home. Big boots to fill after Mick. Cheers for all the hard work over the years

In fairness Mick has given years of his time to ensure referees were assigned to each and every match. He can hang up the phone now.

Hi lads long time observer , just thought I'd let yous know that they do have a team . From what I can gather the reason they're not in Aldridge Cup is because there was a delay in finalising manager which has been resolved . Few lads have dropped away but have been replaced which was the worry I believe . This is what I've been told anyways

That is a fair reason to not play the Aldridge cup. Confey have been low on numbers ever since Burke left and the feeling is it will be a bit of a struggle in years to come.
