| Bolton laying the smackdown on off the ball this afternoon about the way we are playing and training. Not a happy bunny. Yet nothing I would disagree with at all. | |

| Of course he should, probably the least suited of all our forwards to the half forward role. Always worried when a manager keeps picking the same team when things are going badly. A stubborn refusal to admit he is wrong perhaps or just a lack of imagination? | |

| Reading between the lines it is clear that Bolton feels Cian O'Neill is very limited tactically and holding Kildare back, he stated that we have regressed significantly and with the talent available we should be doing much better, in all honesty can anyone disagree with this??????, No?, I thought so.... | |

| Bolton has only stated the obvious. If people in Kildare don't like what he said, then they are only living in La La Land . I hope things will be different today but don't have much hope .We don't look as fit as las, year, thats why we not seeing out Games, that what I think . | |

| Hopefully in typical Kildare tradition this team will put in a big performance when least expected but I think the loss of points in Navan might haunt them as Meath are as good as qualified and the intense hunger might not be there to knock Fermanagh out. I agree with White boy about fitness as Kildare don't look as fit this year and last year I thought the fitness was exceptional, correct me if I am wrong but I think the previous S&C coach has gone to Kerry so perhaps there is a change is timing of peaks. With Cian O'Neill background this is an area that shouldn't be even a slight worry, perhaps it's more of a mental thing. Ultimately these players need to realise that they need to kick on and make their own luck, it won't happen on its own. | |

| The same players, playing the same style, making the same mistakes. The manager picking the same players, playing the same style, making the same mistakes..... And we wonder why? | |

| What an embarrassing scoreline, let's how this team who are experts at messing up big leads play when faced with losing so heavily. Similar pathetic outcome I guess. | |

| Struggling to think of a time I've ever been so relieved not to be at game.
If O'Neill is still in charge for the championship it's an FAI-esque level farce.

| He has to go I’m afraid. Absolutely no game plan and complete lack of discipline. Shows complete lack of respect or care for management. No coming back | |

| Actually cringing listening to this.
When playing into that wind, you work your ass off, you hold possession and slow the game down, going backwards, sideways, running down the clock, fouling, whatever it takes to break up play. But of course not. Then in second half and within five minutes Eoin Doyle gets black carded and Kevin Flynn gets put off. Blame O'Neill all you want for sure, but there's enough blame to place on backs of a group that are a walking joke too.
Brains are in precious short supply in that camp.
Wonder is the intelligence there to feel embarrassed and humiliated on the bus back. A waste of petrol.

| Not much you can say to what is happening in Donegal. The manager should be asked to step aside, players just not playing for him and their discipline over this league points to that they don't care. The Chairman needs to act for the good of Kildare football. Its not nice but that's the way it is. Any good will from Mayo is long gone now.
Change needed and change it tonight.

| Nailed it Rex. Usually hate calling for heads but this is just too bad to be true. Wouldn’t absolve players completely at all but it’s utterly shambolic now | |

| I wouldn't absolve the players at all. That doesn't mean O'Neill shouldn't go and not defending him but Jesus H Christ as I stated above you can't coach brains. Thick. Thick. Thick. | |

| Can take not winning. Not trying is shameful. Going off radio commentary, we don’t seem to care. Players need to look in the mirror. | |

| Completely OTB. Mentioned last summer that a number of players were speaking locally about their dislike of the set-up and dislike of the management. That's an issue that needs to be solved. But while being solved, to play for your county and not care like a sulking, surly teenager is pathetic. If they don't want to be there, walk away, rather than embarrass themselves and their county like that. | |

| Yeah I just don’t understand not breaking yourself for an hour after months of commitment. Of course the manager has questions to answer, but an inter-county player should have a basic level of work rate and discipline regardless of who’s on the sideline. | |
