| Only those who want Kildare to fail would do that now, if this happens and his appointment is blocked then after nearly 50 years I would be done with Kildare | |

| The CB got the best man for the job. Club loyalties from “flat earther” delegates with the foresight of a troglodyte shouldn’t be let hold the county team back. Name and shame! What utter gobshites are planning this move? | |

| Once top table votes en bloc it will get through as only a handful of clubs are needed then. I believe this attempted coup is being orchestrated by one individual in particular. I won’t name him but I would imagine most know who it is. | |

| Can't see this getting anywhere and only starts by creating a divide and a 'i told you so' if something goes wrong. To me i am extremely happy and supportive of this proposal but if you look at other counties you see a few people semi publicly putting their name forward with a 'i would be interested in talking to the county board' or 'the kildare job would be an interesting role' etc. comments apart from Davy Burke i don't think anyone else did publicly...….. | |

| If this is blocked, won’t be going to games next year & strongly feel supporter boycott only rational response. | |

| After all the publicly and announcements made over the last 3 weeks or so if this is blocked we might as well lock up St. Conleth's Park and Hawkfield and throw away the keys.
Not so much the appointment, or the people appointed, but the general perception of Kildare GAA will be forever damaged.

| If there is a plot, they better get ready for war cos I for one am not taking it! Anyone thinking of it, just be aware what you're getting into, is all I'm saying.
Can't see it going anywhere cos it smacks of David Icke-level crackpot stuff – but this is Kildare after all. The county that gave Larry Tompkins, Shea Fahy and Kieran McGeeney the boot.
There were even ructions over Micko back in the day, younger posters will be amazed to discover.
Jesus, imagine the players on the fence over commitment looking on at this rubbish... You'd run a mile.

| The more I think about it, this can't go anywhere, because imagine the massive pressure O'Connor's replacement would be under: the whole thing would turn toxic from day one.
However, I have to acknowledge this is Kildare and thus anything is possible – including us becoming a national laughing stock yet again.
Time to grab the popcorn I suppose.

| Good stuff, I was a little nervous as in Kildare we love to shoot ourselves in the foot, but all is good.
Time to look forward. | |
