Not enough changes in the forwards. It’s harder to get off that team than get onto it.

From the minor team that won a Leinster in 2013 until now there is only 2 players in that starting 15. Shea Ryan and Kevin Flynn. So much for giving a youth a chance.

Glad to see Tyrell in there. He shows plenty of fight any time he gets a chance. Also, he never shirks responsibility when it comes to taking a shot on. If it’s on, he’ll take it.

Others think, if it’s on, recycle the hall backwards, then stand still admiring your 5 metre hand pass, before realising the ball maybe passed back to you so running behind the nearest defender so you don’t have to take the shot seems to be the default setting.

Such an uninspiring team selection. Feel sorry for the good young players in this county. Jack the bluffer it seems.

The continuing selection of niall kelly and Paul Cribbin indicates he either doesn't understand the problem or doesn't know how to fix it. Throw in a heavy pitch and Roscommon are going to have to underperform for us to win. Just hope if we win the toss we at least play with the wind in the first half this time and give ourselves a chance.

No great confidence going into this game, just hoping the team dig in & fight like demons. You just want them to show some pride & hopefully we can win, but when you throw in the conditions as well this is going to be v tough, not for the faint-hearted (won’t suit our boys then etc etc).

Don’t agree with O’Connor’s team selections, & I strongly feel Neil Flynn should be in the team as freetaker, but JOC is going to get in the neck if we don’t win this, so he’ll live & die by his selection.

Don’t know much about Malone - anyone know if he’s up to it? Massive game to just throw a guy in full back line like that, but we’ll find out I suppose.

You’d hope players and management don’t spend their time reading these comments #CarolineFlack

Would Dara Ryan not be a better bet, than N.kelly, drop him back on the half back line .He runs from deep would cause lots of problems .K .Cribben drops back, leave 4 up front , Tackling hard at the back, move the ball into space, take the scores I think it would suit our players.

Hope to see some leaders step up when game in the melting pot and to push on. Definitely a must win game and with the right result we can turn around the season, huge game for the Rossies too, some competitive division this is. The management must get Daniel Flynn involved by bringing him out when things not working inside, need to find a a way of freeing up other forwards when he is bottled up. I would like to see more direct running from strong runners like Cribbin, Flynn etc when long ball in not on. Kildare by 3.

Only getting to pop in and out of twitter to keep up with the match. 4 points down after 6 minutes. Hope we're not giving ourselves a too high mountain to climb

In a decent position with 10 to go. Maybe a point down. Playing well at times. Then we worked hard to force a turn over and line ball. Worked really hard to force it. David Hyland took the ball out of Slatterys hands and then ballooned the fucking thing up in the air. Two Rossies delighted to get it. Penalty all came from Dan Flynn not bothering to track the number 5s run.

End of an era for me. Had high hopes for this team - and they showed flashes of what they were capable of in 2017 & 18 - but unfortunately over the past year they have found their level: a mediocre Div 2 side.

If we can preserve Div 2 status, we should start building a new team around the 2018 U20s. It might be in Div 3 and it might be under Davy Burke.

Hoping we can stay in Div 2, but we dropped down before in 2015 & it could get hairy over next few games.

Anybody could have managed those Kerry teams the product was always there.

Up here with average to good players you have to know what you are doing.

Scoring 13 points today and 10 in last 2 games says it all, going nowhere at that rate of return. Kildare are opened up through the middle too easily by opposition which is an age old problem with Kildare for quite a number of years but the poor scoring return is a new and bigger problem this year than previous years.

What was David Hyland doing with that ball . Goal came off that pass, no need to do that
