| Hmm you could almost hear a pin drop in the land of the official forum such is the silence and lack of activity in there!.
As for Anthony Rainbow a true Kildare legend, Ryan, Finn and Rainbow , the greatest halfback line ever to don the white shirt of Kildare [well in my lifetime anyway].
What made Rainbow so unique he was hardly built like a shithouse almost waif like in stature but he was as hard as nails and totally fearless, did weigh in with some important scores over the years but I wouldn't have put my mortgage on him to split the posts for a bet though.
A thoroughly nice guy who deserves whatever recognition comes his way for his unflinching dedication to the Kildare cause! and he's had one hell of a roller coaster of a ride over the years. | |

Anthony played for Kildare for over 20 years and won 2 Leinster titles and an all-star in 2000. Kildare county board are looking for a way to honur this dedicated servant of Kildare football. For this reason we are running a competition for the best idea on how to mark Anthonys retirement. Post your suggestions on the offical forum. Closing date for suggestions is 7th of September.
