| Athy ended Moorefields unbeten record by winning by six points. Also heard Larries beat Monasterevin.
this means its Moorefield V St.Laurences, and JTB V Confey in the Div 1/2 league finals.
Heard Allenwood lost to naas, so Allenwood are gone and Kilcock/Sarsfields/Monasterevin/Ellistown are all on 10 points meaning score difference will decide who goes down. I believe that in that case Kilcock also go down.

I heard from an Ellistown man that they lost to Celbridge which would mean that they and Allenwood go down as i can figure out

| yes they beat Ballymore by 4 points last thursday and received a walk over from suncroft the weekend of Oxegen as suncroft could not field a team.
with grange winning their last game also it was tight with only 1 point seperating Grange,Moorefield and Milltown.
Good achievment to stay up in division 2.

| is it not a bit of a disgrace that suncroft were allowed give a walk over?? my club tried that near the end of season 2 against one of the relegation battlers and were told we would be relegated if it was no played!!! Cant say im sad to see grange go down though | |

Good achievment to stay up in division 2. It is an excellent acheivement, and i dont begrudge them it but didnt Moorefield play illegal players in an earlier round but recieved no punishment for it? They won the game. They lost the points from the game, but received no sanction for it?! |

| They were informed that these players were elligible to play against castldermot and then someone posted that the score was 4-16 to 1-05(actual result was 1-06 to 1-05) so clubs went mad then and the result was overturned.
As for the suncroft game, the match was moved and Moorefield and the ref were there waiting for some of the suncroft team, if the ref was not their a walkover would not have been allowed.
Rheban and Grange went down.
I beleive the Divison 1 league final will be played on the 28th of August (Day before the Kildare game.)

| Thats fair enough realmoore, if Moorefield and the ref were there ready to play, if Suncroft didnt turn up a walkover had to be awarded and no one can argue with it.
The Castledermot result should not have been over turned if all everything was fine regarding players, regardless of what clubs went mad or what the scoreline was. Must be more to to it than that surely?
Rheban Certainly went down.
I cant see Grange going down without a fight, literally. |

| Dont know to be honest, they still stayed up and thats the main thing.
After that game Moorefield went with the players that the knew were okay and stayed up so cant see what complaints grange could have.

| there is something really stinks about this, moorefield have been so inconsistant in the league its just pot luck as to which moorefield team you play in the league i mean look at the poor teams that play against the ciaran kelly, keith duane, kenny duane, ger naughton, james lonerigan, robbie delaney, liam keane, as to the lucky teams that got to play the moorefield team without all these players its an absolute shambles of a system. then to add insult to the situation they are given 2 points for a game never played and these 2 point just so happen to edge them away from relegation also if they played illegal players durin the league they should be kicked out or fined or some sort of punishment if it was any other club they would get the maximun punishment | |
