McGee, typical O'Neill choice, a surly puss just like his own

So what are they actually going to do? Talk of reducing the hand-pass, taking free kicks off the ground etc...

It'll be interesting to see what new recommendations this review group come up with......it wont be easy to get these new changes through if any are put forward.....we all know how hard and difficult it is for the GAA to embrace change.....especially if it concerns the provincial councils......but here's hoping they will bring something concrete to the table that will enhance our games.... study

There's not a whole lot wrong with the game in its current form to be honest. For all that it will be inevitably ran down by the media over the next few weeks (as it always is at this time of year), the football championship will be the only show in town from mid-July onwards. I hope they don't introduce sweeping changes like some of those mooted - thirteen a side, reducing consecutive handpasses etc. Football will evolve and sheer skill will always rise to the top.

womt be surprised to see the mark introduced as the high fielder is getting destroyed as soon as he lands. Linesmen will get more powers and wont be surprised to see the handpass rule seriously tsmpered with.
