| I think Kevins are a better team than Ballymore. Would switch the prices on them | |

| Bandwagon still rolling on JTB as it was when they were in the intermediate for the last few years. They do have good players but the senior champ is a big step up from intermediate imo. | |

The same is said every year. Don't seem to be able to integrate their county players back into the club scene at all. Carbury at 18's represents more value if you ask me

| Carbury probably the best bet all right sure when the 1st bet goes on them no matter how much it is they will head straight for 8 or 10's!! | |

| Anyone know the format of the championship this year??
It seems like every year, the CB make up different rules and formats to bamboozle half the county.

| Senior Championship draw
Moores v Clane JTB v Confey Larries v Ballymore Sash v Leixlip Maynooth v Athy Kevins v Carbury Naas v Celbridge Monastervin v Allenwood
Not too many big ties there with JTB v Confey and Naas v Celbridge the standout ties although Confey seem to be short a few of last year's team at the minute, it won't be long coming around now any just under 5 weeks away now.

| Looking at the draw, 16 senior, 15 Inter, 9 junior A............ seems a a bit unbalanced.
Should the aim be for an even spread , of say, 14 Senior, 14 Inter, 12 Junior A, or 12, 14 & 14 which might reflect the standards of the "lower ranked teams" more accurately ? A topic for November ???

| It's 16 in the intermediate as well as the senior. 16 is a handy number of teams for the draw and the format. And it's hard to see too many clubs, in the case of senior and intermediate, being in favour of dropping to a lower standard, and in the case of junior clubs, getting a pile of stronger teams thrown in on top of them. | |

| I'd say a double header in the intermediate Nurney v robertstown and ellistown v suncroft would draw a crowd | |

| Somebody in the CB loves that fixture.
It's been a long time since both clubs avoided each other in championship draws.
