| What do People think now that the All Stars have been announced ? For Me, James McCarthy was a very debatable inclusion, and I suppose Ryan McHugh missing out, even though He is a Cert for Young Player of the Year, I would have had Michael Murphy at Full Forward instead of Donaghy, Connolly at Centre Forward and McHugh at wing Forward.. | |

| Since Murphy was not even nominated for the FF line (and since he never played there this year) your "changes" in the forwards are not realistic.........l McHugh had a few big games but went missing in the Final
McCarthy was a bit of a springer but looking back over the year, he did play very well in a lot of League & Champ games but I would have given tha spot to Aidan O'M who had sme massive games esp the All Irl when he outplayed MM & was the second most influential player on the pitch, after James O'D and possibly Papa whose handing of the goal to KD makes his selection ahead of Cluxton a crazy one....................
or is it me just the crazy one !!!!!!!!!

| I think the selection process has gone beyond a joke. Why not have 3 nominations for each position and whatever position any player played in the most throughout the season he should be nominated in that position only ( however I know this can be awkward the way most teams set up these days).
All nominations should be the same as the goalkeepers position (i.e. 3 players that played at No.1 only).

| I wasnt aware Murphy wasnt nominated for the FF line, your spot on so.. Agree with O Mahony, He should have got One.. The process has changed a lot to make way for Players and Positions.. I would say Murphy played more Matches at FF than Donaghy did Kelf ? Sorry I meant "All Stars 2014 ".. Me bad. | |

| Murphy wore 14 allright but I dont think he spent more than 10 mins in any champ game there, mostly started at mid or 11 & the odd rest at 14.......... cant rememberthe league positions much but I think it was mostly like the champ games...... I feel he is even a bit lucky to get in at 11 as he was poor enough in a lot of games
I did not even notice the 2015 bit
Reminds me of the sort of thing I did very often,,,, so cant even slag u on that !!!!!!!

| I agree Murphy was lucky, but didnt Donaghy only Play Two full Games, albeit with a huge impact.. I Personally wouldnt have given Him One..
Watching last Night, it dawned on Me that of the 3 nominations for the Young Footballer of the Year, not One got an All Star.. Yet Paul Murphy got an All Star, but wasnt nominated for that Title.. strange.
Did Tipp win more AS than Kilkenny ?

| Think so BFB..
I see Padraig O Neill is our sole Representative on the Irish Squad, and also noted that only 5 All Stars also included..
