| Yea it was close enough up until the last 20 minutes. Kilcullen were 3 up at half time. Amsterdam got back to one behind then in the second half but Kilcullen pushed on from there. Scored 5 points and then a goal. Amsterdam got a goal of their own near the end but aside from that it was all Kilcullen for the last 20 minutes or so. | |

| Probably a fair result.. tower's forwards were very poor.
Well done to all involved, as the park never locked better and one has to wonder why it doesn't host more county club championship matches.

| Very poor. Kildare clubs can't do it in Leinster. | |

45 minutes with no score from play.. probably better off than getting battered by rhode.

| More evidence to show how weak senior club football is in the county. Both Newbridge sides excel in Kildare but are very average compared with the top clubs in other counties. Terrible stuff. | |

| Building ourselves up is one of our downfalls. We are very cocky in this county. I saw on the kildare now page where they said Towers should have no problems beating At.Colmcilles and look what happened. Also saying Sarsfields are favourites today yet they didn't score from play for nearly 50 minutes. Over hyped and overrated. Nothing new there. | |

| Tommy Callaghan described Sarsfields loss as a "shock". In what universe was that a shock?
We really are at a low ebb and I for one was not at all surprised.
Also have some connections with Colmcilles and no surprise at all for me that they beat Towers.

| By god our poor record in leinster continues on with today's result. Terrible stuff. Bit of character shown by sarsfields with that late fightback, and they actually could have snatched it. It seemed that with 14 men on the field, they sparked to life. To those who were at the game, were O'mahoneys any good either?

| It was a BIT of a shock to me, and the bookies had Sarsfields very short priced.. as for o mahoneys, they were up to recently an intermediate team and I wouldn't say too many gave them a chance today.. Let's see how they fair against rhode. | |

| Not a shock they got beaten but shocked that they seemed to play so bad. Only 2 points in the first half, no score from play for 45 minutes....doesn't say much for Kildare club football at all.
We've had a good few teams do very well in the Leinster IFC over the last decade. You'd wonder why no Kildare club can make the same impact at SFC level.

| Just in from the Match....Sarsfields were 1/6 to win this game in Paddy Powers this morning....how that was I will never know. They scored 2 pts from frees in the first half didn't play at all. Can't see Ben McCormick make it at senior county level going on the last 2 matches I have seen him play. Sash behavior on and off the field didn't help themselves.1 Byrne getting sent to the stand and chackys head butt he got away with it in the County final but not today. Unfairness after the sent off sash were better but couldn't get over the line and probably would be an injustice to Sean o manhonys ....sash have a young team and will probably contest more county Finals in kildare but that's about it.
Anyone know what's Rainbows connection is in sarsfields....a few suncroft players giving out the he wasn't with his own club helping them...
