The Scottish league is so bad, this signing could win the title for Celtic, even though he's over-rated and they're 10 points behind. He has more quality than is evident up there and could score 20 goals I think. He could also get sent off in the derby mind you. Big gamble for the Bhoys given their financial situation but I suppose they'll sell heaps of jerseys. Kamara is a very good signing too I think. He'll do damage up there. They'll go straight into the team and hopefully we won't have to look at Samaras or Fortune anymore.

Scottish League is bad i agree.

Some people will say Keane is lacking ambition, but i would have to disagree.

He could have easily sat on his hands on the bench at Spurs and picked up his £75k a week and socialised in the swanky spots in London while playing no football and picking up no winners medals at the end of the season.

He's gone for Celtic, a boyhood dream for most young Irish soccer players, over:
West Ham-battling relegation.
Sunderland- mid table mediocrity.

At least in Celtic he will be adored. 5,000 fans showed up last night to see him outside parkhead.
He will be challenging along with celtic for the league and Cup and getting them back into the champions league for next season.
At home he will never play in front of less than 50,000 supporters that will chant his name and dribble over his every touch.

He's 29 now, its mid table mediocrity from here on in, i think he made the right decision.

no walsheman, he gets asked his opinion on things and he gives it. you don't have to like it. I'd say he could give a shit. it's not like he comes to a press conference and decides to say 'that was some shite defending by McShane' (which it was). He answers questions and thankfully, unlike the other automatons, he answers them.
