Might be safer to say the Gaa have refused Fermanagh's request to postpone the match, might not go ahead though.

So is the Kildare game being shown live on TV or is it live online?
If its online is it easy to access it?

It is very easy............just to to tg4 website and follow links. I watched Leinster minor final last year from USA on tg4 stream and it was great.
If you prefer their tv station still showing the deferred coverage at 4pm

Thanks for the updates. Cavan and Germanagh being hot-spots you'd wonder about it all Typo there on Fermanagh but it seems to fit !!!!!!

Yes need those forwards to fire. You never know what you are going to get from some of them. I wouldnt be surprised if Eanna starts. Rest of the team looks strong enough. Hopefully we get the job done and 2 badly needed points.

Defending has been our biggest weakness for the past few years, I think Doyle to corner back and hyland to wing back is an improvement as is Shay Ryan in other corner, likewise Masterson to midfield. Niall Kelly, Dan Flynn , Tyrrell and Conway missing for various reasons definitely weakens us up front, although there is still potential in that forward line and opportunity for a few to stake a claim

Happy with that team up to No 10 but that's where I begin to lose confidence.
Lads we could easily lose this game, and by extension if next week doesn't go well, we could get relegated. This is really serious for Kildare football and my fear is we're sleepwalking into becoming a tier 2 championship team.
We are taking a big risk here at 11 and 14, the spine of our attack, and in some other areas also.
1. Mark Donnellan, Maynooth 2. Shea Ryan, Sarsfields 3. Mick O'Grady, Celbridge 4. Eoin Doyle, Naas 5. David Hyland, Athy 6. Con Kavanagh, Sarsfields 7. Kevin Flynn, Celbridge 8. Kevin Feely, Athy 9. Aaron Masterson, Moorefield 10. Paul Cribbin, Johnstownbridge 11. Paddy Brophy, Celbridge - Hasn't proven himself at county level, and certainly not in this position 12. Liam Power, Raheens - Deserves his chance and very best of luck to him, is he a 12 though? Big powerful man probably more suited to the middle 13. Ben McCormack, Sarsfields - No issues here, Ben needs to get everything out of himself because we really need him 14. Darragh Kirwan, Naas - Has never impressed me, don't know why he's in there 15. Jimmy Hyland, Ballyteague - Very much unproven at senior inter county level but if we can get him going he could be great, I hope Jack has him in because he's seeing something that Jimmy hasn't shown in public for a while.

Brophy did struggle to find his form when he came back from Aus, but at the start of this year he really looked back to his best, he has been top class in the league todate

I forgot Robinson, also injured so we are definitely 3 or 4 short of our 1st choice attacking line up, and agree we are vulnerable this weekend on that basis

Will need a couple of goals to win this I fear. Apart from Ben who is likely to score?

You're confusing critical analysis and an engaged discussion with what I presume you think is negativity?
We shouldn't confuse the two. There is no place for blind, ignorant or uninformed comments, especially if they're negative. Similarly there is no place for blind optimism or a "sure give it your best shot lads" attitude.
I'd be willing to bet that everyone of those players hold themselves to a higher standard than anyone on here does.

Westmeath beating Laois, we just cannot afford to lose tomorrow as I would expect Laois to beat Fermanagh next week.

It looks like they have gone for plenty of physical power or tall players to win primary possession possibly with winter football in mind. I would like to see one more player with craft in the forward division but I suppose for various reasons there is no Jack Robinson or Adam Tyrell, I don't know what the story is with Neil Flynn. Of course we all look forward to Daniel Flynn returning to cause mayhem. It will be good to see Fergal Conway returning to to add a physical edge, it's no bad thing to haveTommy Moolick to have to come into the frame too especially as the ground gets heavier over the winter he wont be found wanting and normally chips in with a point or two.
