| Over the last three years we have seen a unknown or previous overlooked player come to the fore front of the County team. We have had Hugh McGrillan, Rob Kelly and Peter Kelly to name but three, we have also seen Flats the younger fulfill his talent. So I would presume that this year we will get someone else to burst on the scene. This year I think it will come from the forwards, maybe Fionn Dowling or Darroch Mulhall will be taking center stage in June.
So who would your candidate for new player stardom be ?

| Conor Brophy. Captained Kildare U-21's before injury struck. Really good club player for Celbridge and good debut for seniors last Monday by all accounts. Can play in a variety of positions too. | |

| Hard to look past Moolick or Brophy at the moment I reckon. The forwards will be hard to break into this year looking at the talent we already have in there, be great to see Dowling get a few games in the league to show us what he can do though.
Doubt anybody could have guessed this time last year that Peter Kelly would be an All Star come the end of the year, likewise this year it could be somebody completely off the radar in terms of the senior panel who breaks through for us.

| Sean Hurley the dark horse, Kevin O Connor the unknown, Fionn Dowling the most likely, | |

| Personally I think it will be too soon for any of last years minor team to make an impression, the likes of Moolick or Hurley, They are fantastic footballers but I think its much too soon to expect them to break into the seniors, They need time to be allowed develop physically. If there is a break through player i would think it may again be someone from the fringes in the mould of a mcgrillen or peter kelly | |

| Tommy Moolick or Sean Hurley for me. Two of the most gifted footballers i've seen. | |

| Shane Connolly's a very good goalkeeper. Id say Fionn Dowling will be one to watch this year too.
I haven't seen as much of the other names mentioned here but I'd say those 2 will do well.
