What the shotgun for " killing little protestants " you sound like sergeant Boyle
Precisely! And hard luck to sarsfields. The missed chances were so vital to the outcome of the match. Could have won it.

Best team won yesterday. For me it was a typical Kildare v Dublin match , Kildare ( Sash ) winning loads of possession but not having the classy forwards to win the game. The Sash are a one trick pony upfront and when he went off , it was curtains. The Sash full back line was good and Tiernan played well. Chalky had a good second half. They will be happy with their year though but I have a suspicion that Athy will be back in Kildare next year as the team to beat and would be better equipped for Leinster.
I hope that their manager cooled down after the KFM interview yesterday. He gave the County Board officials a right going over

You ate correct about Kevin been a big loss, if we can get Declan Kinihan back fit he will be a good addition to our midfield, our back line is very solid good forwards midfield is weak we need a good partner for paddy Dunne .

Jesus if Smith's cruciate is gone it's already a massive blow to Kildare, and the year not even started. Fingers crossed it's not that serious.

Straight through the first roundabout then take a right at the second one.
Plenty of parking around the place with the hospital and United Park nearby.
Don't expect the jacks to be much better than in Newbridge though...

There are parking spaces beside the car dealership just across the road from the entrance to the ground. Parked there before the league match in March and was back onto the motorway in no time afterwards.

Jaysus me head
1. Head north on M1 toward Exit 10 Toll road 96 m 2. At junction 10, take the N51 exit to Dr. Átha (Thuaidh)/Drogheda (North)/An Uaimh/Navan/Collann/Collon Toll road 550 m 3. At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto N51 Go through 1 roundabout 1.8 km 4. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto R132 1.1 km 5. Turn left onto Cross Lane
As for parking all double yellow lined or pay and display because its beside the hospital, the hospital overflow cark park is straight across the road but thats very expensive

If you drive down past the Hospital car park (keeping it on your right and the pitch on your left) and turn left at the lights at the crossroads, follow the road around to the left, and there's a small car park opposite the cemetary. Little bit of a walk back around to the opposite side of the ground to get entry but no charge for the parking.

Congrats to everyone associated with Monasterevan GFC, they now join the elite bunch of clubs in the County that have won "official" Leinster titles, Raheens and Moorefield in Senior, Confey, Maynooth and Ballymore in Intermediate. They now play Finuge of Kerry in the Semi while Fr.Rocks Tyrone play Charlestown Mayo in the other, will this be the year when we finally win our first All Ireland club title.
Here's hoping

Congrats to Monasterevan today, hard earned win on a heavy pitch and in cold and wet conditions, they played to there strengths by holding the ball and moving it through the hand most of the time. Have to say, they probably could have made a few more changes from the bench, also could have used there keeper to kick a few of the longer frees they got especially in the first half, but overall they were the better team team. Had some flash backs today when we arrived at the pitch......all I could think of was that feckin stefan white and others kicking bleady points from all angles and we being abused by a crowd of wee county supporters behind the goals back in '91........OMG what a kip of place it was then and still is today.......

Well done to Monasterevin, a well deserved victory no doubts, on a tough pitch and conditions, should have won far easier, but conditions were a good handicapper. There was some support at the match for Monasterevin, It was like a home Game. UN Believeable, Wish ye well in All Ireland semi now.
