I think Ciarán Whelan actually got that one right on the Sunday Game. McQuillan told him there was 30 seconds left. He blew the whistle about 30 seconds later. Had Mayo actually won that kickout, he might have played longer. Borderline is correct. It's Mayo's own fault for not getting the finger out.
Jim Gavin is a hypocrite. Blathering on there a few weeks ago and yesterday about their style of play. It was quite obvious on Sunday that they can mix the high tempo attractive football with the dirt just as well as any other county. Not knocking them over it, just knocking him for his hypocrisy and the media for theirs.
Clearly there's a lot of partitionist nonsense going on. Had Tyrone or Armagh won the All Ireland in the same fashion, they'd be torn to shreds.
