| This Appointment, dare I say it, makes a lot of sense.. It wont be easy with Dublins dominance at this level, indeed their Minors at this Age were AI Champions.. Agree lilly, there needs to be plenty of communication between both Senior Manager and Murph. | |

| Brian Lacey steps down from his role with the minors. Possibly joining up with Murphy again. | |

| Best of luck to him, put in a lot of work whilst in minor and before. Just hope he goes to more than club finals, semi finals and has a look at players and picks them up along the way. |

| Great appointment in terms of keeping continuity with players Murphy has managed at minor level and trying to progress the players on to senior level. No doubt many of his players from the 2013 Leinser minor winning panel will feature and hopefully the under 21s will serve as a stepping stone to the senior panel for players like Chris Healy, Mark Sherry, Wayne Fitzpatrick and others from that team last year | |

| yeah good to see Murph getting the nod,as KK said he has done trojan work over the years..i agree with you Umpire,on the one hand, but realisically it depends on the guy's day job.?? in an ideal world the best situation for a manager is to see players at club level on a regular basis.. | |

| I hear Brian Murphy has Anthony Rainbow, Enda Murphy and Noel Mooney are his selectors for 2015, not bad mentors if these appointments are true..... | |

| Lacey is getting married in the next year. It would be hard to give his full commitment to any inter county role. | |

| I don't know if there is any truth in this now but I was told that there are trial games this week? Anyone else hear something similar? Sounds fairly early to bring them in but maybe after last years shambles it will turn out a good decision | |

| I would doubt there would be Trials prior to the U21 Championship being started... I know that the Clubs were contacted re: sending in lists of Lads "Up to it".. | |
