Last week's Leinster SF 'A' results:

Patrician Secondary School, Newbridge 0-10 Athlone Community College 1-6
Scoil Mhuire, Clane 3-11 St Mel's College, Longford 0-12
Knockbeg College, Carlow 1-14 Maynooth Post Primary 0-9

Patrician's and Clane have tough draws in round two. Patrician's are away in Navan against St Pat's. Clane are away to St Mary's, Edenderry. Ardscoil Na Trionoide play Marist, Athlone in the first round in Athy at 1:00 tomorrow. If they win that they will have a home draw against St Peter's, Wexford in round two.

I believe Scoil Mhuire are away to Edenderry and Patricians are away to St Pats of navan. Both on Friday and both incredibly tough games.

Brilliant win against another heavyweight at this level. I know the school won a Leinster under 14A a couple of years ago and have a couple of last year's minors but seriously how on earth are they pulling off these results.

St Aidan's Whitehall or St. Beildus Stillorgan in the semi-final I believe.

Apart from one or two its almost entirely made up of minor team which got to county final last year but considering they were in the B last year its a meteoric rise at this level

Think Clane competed in the U16 C Championship last year so a remarkable run from these group of players

Nearly all of them were Minors last year so it seems to be 2015 minors are eligible.
Last year 16's are weak and haven't great numbers but a few nice players in the squad.

Heartbreaking defeat for Clane today - 2 points up going into injury time, brought to extra time and lose by 2. Amazing season for them though having just come up from 'B'. Saw a stat saying no Kildare school had reached the A Final since 1923. Is it any wonder we are where we are as a football county?
