| Last round of Aldridge Cup fixtures have been put back to this weekend (weather permitting) that could delay the start of the league by a week also. The fact that no set of fixtures have been released yet would also suggest that county board are in no hurry to start the league! | |

| Looking at the official website I am horrified: Round 1 of league games scheduled for 4.00 p.m. on Saturday 25th March, great. Round 2 of league games scheduled for 6.45 p.m. on Tuesday 04th April, why restructure the league and have matches on a Tuesday night at 6.45 p.m., I know Kildare are travelling to Galway on the weekend before but still Tuesday night at 6.45 p.m. is crazy and unfair to both players and supporters. | |

Thanks for clarification. So the last round of league matches is the 17th of June.. and no further matches for the majority until the championship resumes.

| There is a split. For example in Division 3 there are 10 teams, everyone plays each other once. After that the top 5 teams go into one group (playing for promotion) and the other 5 go into a second group (playing to avoid relegation). If you played a team at home in the initial round you play them away in the second stage. So in Division 3 everyone gets 13 matches. In Division 1 there are 12 teams so its split 6/6 so they'll end up with 16 matches each. | |

Leader today confirmed there is a split and then a straight final, at least for division 2. 3 and 4... there might be semi in div 1.

| Division 1 has top 4 semi finals, bottom 2 relegated.
A team in division 2 and 3 could finish top and unbeaten and with the split the home/away fixture is reversed, so in theory could have 4 away matches.

great game yesterday in Leixlip. Tommy Moolick ran the show in he middle he was outstanding. Feely went off ( looked to be sick not injured) and Niall Kelly was quiet but to be fair Kevin Conneely marked him well . Athy had all the big guns out yesterday . I still think Athy / Moorefield will win the championship . Their bench has some experience in Foley and Mulhall both who came off the bench yesterday.

| Couple of serious hidings in Division 4. Rheban 5-22 to 0-3 Ardclough and Kilcullen 7-16 to 0-6 Ballykelly. Also Kildangan giving a walkover to Rathcoffey. | |
