that looks like the game worth going to at the weekend, everything else seems to be done and dusted now apart from Milltown and Ellistown, if Milltown bt Suncroft then Ellistown are relegated.

Yeah that's it now.. if we beat Armagh, then we'll play Tyrone on August 5th.. defeat here would leave the next round of the club championship on the weekend of the 18th of August.

4 weeks for most clubs apart from those in semi finals and finals to recharge batteries and get lads off the treatment table before championship

Win for Robertstown 3-14 to 3-10 I think , Rathcoffey won aswell so who gets promoted ? Is it score difference even though teams conceded or is it head to head ?

I'm hearing that the top 2 teams in the bottom section of the league's are to play in a shield final.. Clane v monasterevin div 2.. sallins v kill in div 3.. castlemitchell v grange in div 4... not sure the sense in it tbh.

Isn't it better than a challenge in the gap between the championship? It's another game - no harm in it that I can see, it's not like it has to be squeezed in somewhere.

Valid point ogie.. certainly better than any challenges, as long as it's not left on the back burner.. shouldn't be.

Also with teams like grange and castlemitchell who are struggling and are in a bit of a transition period winning a final all be it a shield will be great for the few young lads they have

I think that the Shield finals are very unfair on the teams that finished 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th in the top half of the divisions.

Its a reward for finishing 7th & 8th in the league. ??????

Saving teams arranging challenge games is the only benefit I can see for the Shield finals
