| Interesting article by Ewan MacKenna in the Times on home and away advantage in the Leinster Champinship - Dublin (of course) top of the pile - Kildare (of course?) bottom of the pile! https://t.co/TCDe8L0GPd | |

| Good article! We have only ourselves to blame for the state of Conleths. However if it is suitable to host qualifiers, then it is definitely suitable to host Leinster round 1's and quarter finals. | |

| Wonder what will happen if we make it into Super 8 territory! will we have to play home games in Portlaoise or Dublin again? |

| I would be of the opinion if the proposed upgrade of St Conleths park in the next few years is achieved promptly, there is no reason why it cant be feasible, to hold 1st round games Qtrs or any super 8 game , I am sure a short trip down from the Big Smoke would be a breath of fresh air | |

| Feasible but not profitable. Not Dublin's problem or fault they are the cash cow, the GAA's problem and fault for milking that cash cow night and day. | |

| But it could give a sense of a level playing field on the home and away concept , ok from a development point of view it's hard to complete with a now professional outfit, but every underdog has his day , it would do no harm taken the perceived invincible out of the big smoke , sure it shouldn't be all about profitability, I'd say Dublin wouldn't mind a trip out there precieved comfort zone , It would do no harm to to spread the wealth to other towns and give them a highlight to the year !! Sometimes the cow needs to be milked in its home town | |

| If that's the way you feel about it , so be it , that's your slant on the comment, but would it not be good for the game for all concerned, sure there are enough cries and complaints about the unbalanced nature of teams getting preferential treatment in headquarters , when there is a suggestion to alleviate the imbalance, there are those who still cry foul at the suggestion, Tommy is right it's a financial greed on the part of the GAA, another factor which is put into the mix is the amount of season ticket holders to be catered for and does the proposed ground cater for the numbers , some compromise needs to be reached to have the home away arrangements in the super 8 | |
