Subject: Resumption of Club Games 31st July 2020 - What are we looking at ? Wed Jun 10, 2020 10:24 pm
What kind of competitions are we going to see for Clubs in both Football and Hurling when 2020 finally gets underway on the 31st July ? There will be a window of 10 Week to get it all done. What will it look like in terms of competition structures and when do we expect to get an announcement/guidance from KCB and the CCC ? Any thoughts or views ?

I believe the first two weekends, 02 & 09 August will be League, followed by 3 weekends of Championship.
A mixture of league and championship then.
Leagues will continue through to November possibly.

That sounds good. Any idea on plans for all the other age categories reserve teams, minor and juvenile.

Juveniles game July 31 to end of November
minor will finish League and championship Reserve league and championship august to November

League to be played on w/e 18th/25th July 2020
Championship on w/e 01st/078th/15th/29th August 2020
So they say anyway.

League draws are published. Can anyone explain the rationale behind this "cross over" thing in for division 2 and 3? Is it just for the craic?

The only thing I can think of is that it will give each team 5 games in the group phase as opposed to 4 games if they played the teams in their own group. ??
