Disgraceful lack of leadership from GAA

Is it that I've missed it or have the GAA shown zero leadership on the Dublin players training scandel?

The Dublin CO Board come out and suspend Dessie and the GAA just say nothing and close the book on it??? Are they holding their own investigation intio this or is tail completly wagging the dog here???

I wonder did Dublin suspend Dessie quickly because they didn't want anyone to start asking any more questions??? Did Dessie organise the training or was it player led and therefore is it the players should be suspended? Brian Fenton, JOnny Cooper, Brian Howard all suspended would be worse for Dublin than Dessie

Or was it organised by Dessie and if so were there other cells of players training elsewhere? 7 here, another 7 there, another 7 there and it'll go under the radar...

If Dessie organised it they weren't the only group training
If the players organised it themselves they should all be suspended

But if the GAA don't investigate we'll never know

From my last reading of reporting on it the G.A.A are conducting their own investigation into what happened, doubt very much the players will be suspended given that no Cork or Down players were suspended for similar incidents earlier this year.

Looks like Monaghan are in the dock now over similar breaches!

How stupid can these lads get. Everyone is watching everyone else inside the GAA and outside in general life. Any breach of the rules is pounced upon. The GAA has a massive target in its back which unfortunately is merited after last years club celebrations.

It just cones across as shear arrogance from all involved. Unless the players who are caught get the bans and not coaches then it was always going to happen.

There is a culture of rule breaking in the GAA.... if we don't all grow up it'll ruin it all. People must look in at the GAA and think its the wild west!

I wonder will the Monaghan county board be allowed to decide the sanction this time or will Croke Park step in.

I think this is disgraceful, as if these county boards don't know what's happening, Croke Park need to grow a set of balls and deal with this issues directly and NOT allow county boards to dictate the punishment.

If both Dublin and Monaghan county boards admit these training sessions happened what are Croke Park are waiting for ???

Exactly Gaa1928.... I wouldn't mind if they came out and made a statement as to why there is radio silence but just to say nothing is so frustrating and weak... is the new president in situ yet? not a good start if he is

All these calls for "Croke Park" to take action, to investigate, suspend etc........

Those in Croke Park are staff and do not have the authority to investigate or suspend.......

Central Council has full authority and every county has at least one member of it...... Has there been a peep from the Offaly or the Kildare member ?? Or from any other member ?

According to independent this morning Croke Park will null and void bans imposed by Dublin and Monaghan managers by their own county board
