any other kildare lads playing this thursday with different colleges?

Maynooth won by 2 points.

Connolly played in goal. Conor Brophy was midfield.

DIT beaten by UL by two points today as well, think Galvin was out injured for DIT, wasn't on the bench anyways for them.

Maynooth playing UL in the quarter final now, odds on UL winning it out from the start were at least 120-1 so Maynooth should fancy there chances of making it to a semi final at least. Although at the same time UL will feel like they could beat anybody after knocking out the second favourites.

Thats some achievement for Maynooth, Jordanstown last year Queens this year. Thats without Moolick and Hurley who are freshers this year. Is john divilly still managing them?

think they had karl o brien playin corner back from larries if i''m not mistaken and a sub came on late on and chap beside me said he was a nurney man. Great win for maynooth

Mulhall's in 1st year so he'd be on the Fresher's team, not sure if 1st years can play in the Sigerson.

Bolton didn't tog for DIT. Naas' Shane Bergin was an unused sub.

lads just lookin at the bettin there last week and ucd at 9-1 look good. they have the likes of rob kelly, ciaran lyng, donie kingston, john o'loughlin, ur man dias from crokes and cian o'sullivan and o'carroll.

Yeah they've a good team alright but surely the odds must have dropped from 9-1? They're probably 3rd favourites behind DCU and UUJ at the moment but don't think they'd be out as far as 9-1.

Certainly worth a bet alright but I doubt you'd still be able to get them at 9's, especially with DIT out of it as well. DCU were favourites from the start at 11-8, probably to nearly evens at this stage I'd say, or maybe 5-4 or 6-5, they'll have a tough enough challenge against UCC in the quarter final though.

UCD at 5s is very tempting alright, UCC were beaten in the final last year by DCU so might be worth putting a few bob on them to cause an upset either.

Andrew Behan from Nurney came on. Frankie Barry from Confey played very well as well.
