| I read somewhere that Conleths is the smallest county ground in the country. Just get a feeling that the bigger the pitch the better for Kildare as it suits our style.
Am I right in saying we shouldn't read too much into our results at home as St Conleths has not been the fortress it used to be pre-McGeeney era?

| Maybe I should have said the actual playing surface. But I thought that might be obvious by saying it didn't suit our style. I'd never seen Hugh McGrillen make a run down the back of the stand to receive a pass from Paudie!! | |

| Damn, how come no one in power had the foresight to realise we would one day play expansive football and need a large pitch.
When you look at those figures it really is tiny. Can't be helping us at all.

| it is tiny i'd say the 45 line is only about 3/4 the length out compared to newbridge i did a rough measure of it one day on google maps and it fell a good distance short of ballyteagues | |
