Very interesting article taken from the Indo, ref online forums

The Sunday Game analysts get paid for their view, your average inter county player doesn't. Anybody who gives up their time and commitment that these guys do 5 or 6 times a week, 40 weeks a year don't and they deserve some bit of respect for that.

Just taking your last comment as a reference point, look back on many of my previous posts I've been avid in my respect and appreciation for the efforts these players put in for little or no reward only the glory of wearing their county and club jersey?.

So I'd like you to elaborate a bit more on what was an obvious innuenndo in your first post on this thread?.

Calling this journalist "useless" is a personal attack on their character...it's no different to calling a footballer useless...as for the unnamed sources in the article, that is how a lot of stories begin with before they evolve over time with the revealing of identities and firmer facts...a bit different to a forum where contributors hide behind log-in names etc etc.

I don't know what's in Heraf's mind but it doesn't read as an attack on Marie Crowe's character. It just reads to me as if he/she doesn't rate her as a journalist and thinks she's useless at it. That has nothing to do with her character, the same as me thinking 'x' is a useless footballer is not making any judgement on the type of lad he is.

You said it better than I could Ogie. I don't know anything about her character but as you say I rate her journalistic ability as "useless"

Firstly, the Sindo and Indo have agendas the length of your two arms - which why I never read them

Secondly, isn't this layout very artistic, quoting quotes that quote quotes

Kildarecat there are lots of people who give their time to Kildare football, club and county. Does their efforts not derserve credit
