Thanks Kelf, that explains the options not being given for getting to a Leinster semi-final. Expect to lose to Dublin and if you win, expect to get to Leinster final.

However, still not sure what will happen if they win their first round qualifier because the qualifiers are consecutive weeks.

Sensorship at its best/worst!

Ballykelly v M'evin in round 2 will be a home game for all players on the pitch that day. With the player who carried M'evin the last few years retired. This one will be a decent contest.
I for one can't wait to play

There were provisional dates including alternatives - they have yet to be approved at a county board meeting I think? June 12 or June 26 start. Then August 2, 16, 23, 30.

Some interesting results there. Few big games coming up.

There have been a huge amount of views on this page over the last few days. I wonder why that might be? bahahahahahaha

So have any of the voyeurs got any predictions for the upcoming games??  lol!

The Junior A championship looks really competitive. I thought Clane were hot favourites to win that though Moorefield are decent enough. And then I see Carbury holding Clane to a point in a very low-scoring encounter. Clane have been banging in goals all year. Had they a full team? If they had, it was a brilliant effort by Carbury and puts them right in the mix.

In senior, Balyna are obviously dangerous again now that the Kildare camogie players are back. Good win for Leixlip and Confey are strong too.

Only one game in intermediate - no big surprise in that result. In the junior B, the game between Kildangan/Nurney and Rathangan looks to have been a cracker. There was a game as well between Castledermot and Kill that was really high scoring - can't think of the score off my head but one team scored a shedload of goals, the other, a shedload of points and it finished a one-point game.

Few weeks now until the next round - that will shed a bit more light on things. Dunno has anyone fixtures?

The Final is Balyna v Leixlip, in Moorefield at 6 on Saturday..............

Balyna scored 5 goals and won handy when the teams met in the Round Robin stages so have to be hot favs............. Leixlip did win when the teams met in the 2011 Final when like now Balyna were the holders................

So it's pretty much gone as expected? I suppose Confey were contenders too... yeah, interesting that Balyna played so much of the League without their camogie players. You'd fancy them alright.

Hard to know with the round-robin games, when there is the anticipation that they will meet again at some juncture. I suppose Leixlip couldn't have been taking that chance though, unless they had Confey beaten already? Anyway, no hiding places in a final. So Balyna going for four-in-a-row?

Balyna in their 5th Final in a row but lost 2011 to Leixlip & 2012 to Confey....... They won 2010 & 2013.

Leixlip had already beaten Confey when they played Balyna and might have been a bit over-confident having overthrown them in the League Final................

But with Holton & Clo Flanagan back to full fitness Balyna are a different proposition.....................

Bit of an upset yesterday I suppose.

Great win for Leixlip in a very tight match. Balyna started well but Leixlip came out strongly at the start of the second half with 1-1 in the first few minutes to cancel out a four point lead. Pretty nip and tuck from then on.

Good entertaining game and best of luck to Leixlip in the Leinster champ.

Wouldn't say an upset, both are very evenly matched! Always have had great battles down through the years. It took a while to get going, but it was an entertaining game overall. O Shea's Goal after half time was an unbelievable piece of skill - outside the 21 and blasted it. It really could have gone either way, neither side letting up.
Great victory for us, god knows our club needs it!!!!

Sounds like it was really exciting... Good to have a good competitive championship. Hope they can be competitive in Leinster but been a great year for them regardless, with the league and championship double.

Great stuff by Clane and Sarsfields to get to Leinster finals - Clane are some operators for the goals; they go for the jugular every chance they can.

Hope they both do it.

From the time they were underage, they've never been out of games because they are goal hungry. And they've carried that through. Who have they in final?

I know Sarsfields have Kilmacud - tough obviously. But they have the attacking talent to trouble anyone if they can get enough ball.
