Good on him, well done. On a side note, weak looking panel.

Have to agree Tommy, two-thirds of the All Stars missing against a team consisting solely of All Australians. Will probably be a hiding.
Whether anyone should care or not is another matter.
Delighted for Paudie. Some boys on here were omitting him from our panel for next year despite him being one of our four or five best this year.

Only 5 all stars, and only One from Dublin and Kerry ??
I understand that a Number of Players wont be available due to Club commitments or other, but that Squad looks weak enough tbh.

Fair play to O Neill. Does anyone know if any other Kildare players took part in trails?

Isn't it strange that Daniel Flynn isn't in the panel given he's had six months or more out there playing their game?

not even in the matchday squad - what was the point in bringing out extra lads if the match day squads were limited? Embarrassing for Paidi and his familiy imo - couldnt have done any worse than most of them today!

strange one to bring to cut the squad to 23! why not just do that at the start, or tell guys from the off that they are only standby!

Ireland never really came to terms with the tackle, either executing it or avoiding it and often snatched at scoring opportunities. Australia were much better at kicking scores . Interesting to see the limit on hand passes and kicks having to pass the 45

I have to agree 100%, every player who traveled should have played, terrible bad on the part of the GAA. How many traveled and how many played as a matter of interest.

25 players were in the squad and 23 played. Padraig and Niall Morgan were the 2 players to miss out.

That's crazy, they should have only brought 23 if that was the case.

He wasn't injured. Only got told the day before the game that he wouldn't be included in the match day panel. Very disappointing for him and his family who flew out to support him.
