| Agree on this. The diving and faking injuries, belts to the face etc is every bit as bad as in soccer. Anyone caught doing this should be banned and there's plenty of video evidence to prove the point | |

| See a Friday night motion at Congress preventing a Newbridge-or-nowhere scenario again passed. Seemingly from now on the GAA can use "safety" to move any game and take any home advantage. Love to know how we voted. Genuinely time to boycott intercounty. Pissing in our faces while robbing our wallets. | |

| As far as I know we objected. But you are right the GAA hierarchy have basically ruined intercounty football with their decisions and obvious favouritism. Its hard to keep the interest and spend money when this kind of bollixollogy goes on. | |

| So 64 per cent of the country voted to reward Dublin for their failures. Croke Park now officially their home ground. Everyone else spent the time and money to do their grounds up so fit for purpose and as we know better than anyone, those that didn't do enough were bullied and threatened.
When Dublin didn't do enough, they get not only given the national stadium, but they are told that they can have an extra home match in the Super 8s each year. John Costello described the motion to make them act like the rest as "mean spiritied". Most of the floor agreed with 64 per cent voting for Dublin.
You can actually give up on intercounty football. Was looking forward to listening to Clare game tomorrow. No point. It's a warm-up for a competition that is literally fixed. I'll keep highlighting this even if it'll never change but that'll be my only interest in intercounty football from now on.

It was only changing one game from croker to Parnell so it was toothless in terms of tackling Dublin’s advantages as I don’t believe changing one game from one of Dublin’s home grounds to the other makes any odds. The good thing is that this will hurt Dublin in the long run as the rest of the counties’ fans will unite in anger against Dublin with the ridiculous advantages they have. This decision will bring further pressure on Dublin and the GAA’s sponsoring of them. This is a bad day for Dublin GAA.

| Best club team of all time & also one of the best football teams I’ve ever seen, full stop. The style they play with is absolutely incredible. Jesus imagine the pride you’d feel being part of a club like that.
Also as Moorefield supporter put our defeat to them last year in a bit more perspective.

| Perspective is needed though. Corofin were able to do that only because Crokes want to attack too and so there was plenty of space. But it was lovely to watch, the emphasis on getting in close and then see what's on, if there's even a sniff of a goal, go for the kill. Forwards are always taking the point now, I can never understand it. But that style of play would obviously have nowhere near the same success against most of the top inter-county teams, or would need to be adjusted at least - in 2018, Mayo used a lot of kick passing to get to Andy Moran and invariably found the spaces to do so, Tom Parsons providing a lot of the supply.
Again, I emphasise, Corofin were great to watch but Crokes' style suited them

| Word of Congrats to Naas CBS on winning and retaining the Br. Bosco Cup Leinster A Final on Wednesday night. See Ronan Joyce has said they won’t play on Sat. after being told that the Hogan Cup semi final is on as they accomodated Leinster with putting the final back due to dual school involvement. Hard to see how Croke Park can continually mess up and not have a Plan B for scenarios like this. It’s not as if they don’t know that EVERY YEAR the competition is run. | |

| D'ont get this Naas complaint myself.
I have seen an underage quarter final being played on Friday evening and the winners playing Naas on Sunday morning.
They didn't seek a postponement then.....

| The other semi isn't being played until next Wednesday anyway but according to the gaa website the Naas semi has now been moved to Saturday week. As pointed out, they got hosed because Colaiste Eoin got to the hurling a final and their quarter final replay was delayed to accommodate them which held up the Naas semi final. Some achievement to go back-to-back with that turnover of starters from last year. Would be great to see someone like Joyce taking over a county minor/under 20 team at some stage. | |

| Congrats to them, some achievement alright... We have underage & schools success, Moorefield winning Leinster etc... So many of the key indicators are right in Kildare & yet we're still bloody stuck in Div 2. Well, hopefully this weekend we'll get back up.
Who is the Naas manager btw? That is a very impressive addition to his CV, no doubt about it...

Our county board, please take note re: Dubs always in Croke Park in Leinster championship.

| Well done lads.......serious talent in this county... and we still looking at Fionn Dowling and a few more...... and yes something wrong if all the underage achievement is not capitalised on fairly soon....... need someone to grow a set of balls and say write off a year or 2 but build a team, an intensity and work rate and a style of football to suit...... Personally I think we have to go big and not sell ourselves short with the next manager.....

| Fully a third of that Naas team were on Kildare minor team that reached Leinster final last year... I've taken a bit of stick on here for saying we're not maximising talent but I really don't don't think we are.
Anyway, hopefully we can win this weekend and get back up to top flight.

| Great to see a Kildare school doing so well. It's vital if we want to dine at the top table on a regular basis that we have a strong school system. Needs to be close cooperation between school, club and county to manage the players long term interests. Good also to see Kildare gaa operations manager Cormac Kirwan involved behind the scenes and I think Alan Cullagh is involved with the 20's | |

| Combination of midweek, not interfering with club fixtures and dispensation from Croke Park I'd imagine for the occasion in Robertstown | |

| Any way Kildare 2-18 Ross 4-12. Good work out in a very counter attacking game. Eoin Doyle off injured and apart from the goals Ross had another 4 excellent chances the low points. Some good scores kicked by Kildare | |
