| You live and hope by the way collie morans article in the sun paper today gave an insight into the mentally of kildare players if true , it's a sad day by the way knocking the current president of the gaa seems a regular occurrence at the moment but yesterday he was in Clara presenting medals to young kids who won county feile and just got a cup of tea and a bun for his day , so fair dues to him | |

| Moran's article is idiotic – doesn't address financial doping or home advantage. Get real Collie! | |

| The current president is bringing it all on himself and it's part of his duties going around the counties pressing the flesh, a job that he's very well reimbursed for | |

| Re game... Hope CON is drilling into them the need for serious performance this weekend. If we're going to do anything this summer needs to be 10-12 point win. I find it bizarre that two of the most talented young players in the county - Jack Robinson & Padraig Nash – will be lining out with juniors, but don't want to go on a rant about that.
See Oisin McConville saying Mayo could come a-cropper against Down... Jaysus. Would be a major blow for a championship already struggling to maintain a veneer of competitiveness.

| No chat about it because the GAA seen euro signs when we drew Mayo. | |

| Listening to KFM today and they were saying that they might struggle to even get a signal for their broadcast to go out on the air from Belfast. I think its 'payback' time for Newbridge or No Where 2018 Should win by at least 8 points. | |

| Tommy is a regular scapegoat for CON... Whilst he persists with others who simply aren’t of county standard, he drops Tommy. It’s baffling (unless there’s an injury?) but then again, should we be surprised? | |

| Would be surprising if the Player of the Match in the last game was dropped...………. Must be an injury...
Then Ronan Quinn was dropped for the 98 All Ireland...………….

| There’s a number of sacred cows on that team. Untouchable, no matter how poor the performances they put in. GAA is a squad game these days but if you’re on the bench I’m Kildare, you have to be thinking there isn’t a hope of getting into that team. | |

| He's finally addressed the fact that we are far too open around the middle and played a working halfforward line with pace to help out the backs and midfield. Better looking half back line too. 3 shooters inside. Happier with this lineup. | |

| Onwards anyway, the next round might tell us if upwards. Can only beat what's in front of you etc but worst team we played this season by a mile. | |

| Have we kicked 25 points in a championship game before? Adam Tyrell is fast becoming a top class forward.
Anyone know the attendance today? Looked to be no more than 1000 there from the pictures I seen.
Mayo or Armagh at home in the draw please.

| Good performance, what you’d hope for. I suppose we’ll find out where we’re truly at shortly.
The comings & goings in squad are hard to keep track of... Thought a whole load of U20s had left but Gibbons back today? Last time I saw him was first round of league. Yet Nash & Robinson with juniors tomorrow... Must just be who’s on the bus when it pulls out of Kildare LOL.
Clare, Laois, Westmeath, Offaly/Sligo the most manageable draws. Armagh a bit trickier. Tyrone or Mayo & we are really up against it.
But sure, we’re there & let’s give it a lash etc.

| You know you can change your 26 from game to game right? Gibbons started against Clare for what it's worth. Good stuff today from Kildare, more balance in the lineup and big performances around the middle and upfront. Hopefully a home draw and a packed Newbridge next Saturday. | |

| Impressive display today even if the opposition weren't up to much for the most part. Tyrell and Flynn on fire up front and serious work done out the field from the other 4, Jimmy looked lively too and won a few nice balls to setup a few scores before getting some of his own.
Cleaned up around the middle once we started pushing up on their kickouts, some really nice team moves throughout and Feely and Ben played some great balls into the forward line.
Times in the first half when Antrim got some easy points down the middle and they kicked at least 3 wonder points from the sidelines, their numbers 11 and 14 did a fair bit of damage.
Brophy and Niall Kelly not even on the panel today, and Gibbons came on as a sub against Wicklow as well did he not? Panel is a bit forward heavy so good to have options at the other end too.

| Good win yesterday, some of the play was immense. Didn't think Adam was going to be up to it but by god I was wrong the lad has some left boot, his right is improving as well, needs to stop the potshots though but feck it we were about 14 points up. Mick O'Grady is one of the best corner backs in the game you heard it here first!! haha. Jimmy seems to be lacking a bit of confidence but the lads coming into the game a bit more and is always out in front, delighted he got two points and hopefully it gives him a lift.
Fergal Conway doesn't score bad goals...
Jack Robinson has to receive a call off Cian the lads immense...
Lads I am working next Saturday is there any possibility of us playing Sunday...
