Championship Semi Final Draw

The draw for the semi final of the Senior Championship will be held on Sunday evening, the 11th September at 7.15p.m. in St. Conleth's Park.

Notice the Intermediate Football Semi Finals aren't included..... No how's that..... Laughing

Is the arrangement for the championships not to wait until the participants are known before the draw is made ???

well by 7.15 tomorrow im pretty sure they will no the participants for the senior draw

Well 2 teams are through so it's irrelevant if the other 2 Q/F's finish level. It's knockout now so it doesn't matter when the draws done.

it was a disgree carry on some players in both senior games in newbridge last night and tonight shows a bad image to kildare gaa

Got to the Larries/Moorefield game and the Athy/ Sars games over the weekend. Very enjoyable couple of games. Some excellent football played in mostly a good spirit.

The two best teams won that's for sure, Larries were more than four points better than Moorefield on the day with Paudie and young Fogarty playing super football. Paudie was I thought the stand out player, dominated the game and drove his team on.
Athy have very good young footballers, Mulhall was their standout man here. Kicked a couple of wondrous points from play, kicked nearly all his frees and also won most of the ball sent into him.
I think the most decisive aspect all weekend was the sending off of Fogarty. He lost the head for a split second and will miss the semi I suspect meaning I have to predict an Athy win as the have the bigger scoring power now that Fogarty will not play.

What ever happens there are a couple of crackers coming up which I think will go Athy and Carbury's way. Now that will be a novel final.

Looking forward to it already.

Another eagerly awaited clash... Think the experience of the Celbridge lads might carry them through. Good first year for Colm Coyle... Carbury will really hope the Flaherty's turn it on that day

There is no reason why the Draw cannot be done Regardless of who's in them and what hearing is taking place.

If you look at the Rugby World Cup, there in the group stages of the Tournament and most teams already know what they have to do to get to the final and who they will most likely play.

They are both sporting tournaments I suppose would be the big relevance, but such is your obvious mental capacity one would not expect you to correlate them both.

Rugby also have video judges, properly organised diciplinary procedures and rules and officials who are truthful and genuine. Unfortunately this dosent infulence the GAA, no more than the World Cup draw does.

I guess my obvious lack of mental capacity wouldnt understand that tho......

They were well able to run off the reserve D semi final draw when there was 2 draws in the quarters so i dont really see how the match ups affect it.

Your agenda is really starting to grate on me. Obviously some refs picked on you in school or have left some scar on your ego but I for one respectfully ask you to either debate matters of relevence to Kildare football without your narrow vision blinkers on or just plainly shut up!

Hold on here a minute Marcus. The topic here was about the draw for the INtermediate semi finals, somebdy else seemed to think that because the rugby world cup is run a certain way that the INtermediate champ should be done the same. Other than the obvious sporting connection, I failed to see any reason why the 2 should be associated.

As regards your other comments, they don't warrant a reply. I will suggest that if you don't like comments being made here to either stop coming here or just GFY!
