| To accommodate Dublin clubs after last weeks All Ireland final - Is this a first, did a Laois club not have to play two games in a matter of days last year in order that the club championship in Laois finished in time for the Leinster Championship. | |

| This isnt fair. In recent years if memory serves me correctly some leinster counties have had no representitives in leinster due to club championships running late because of inter-county commitments while some clubs have had to play within days of winning their own county title.
One law for the rich one for the poor eh?

| I agree. The dubs seem to get away with murder at county level with the powers that be kissing their ass. Its things like this that makes some kildare fans and indeed many arounfd the country dislike dublin or support other teams against them | |

Where are these administrators from ??? All around the country What a stupid statement !! I would agree that "yes" That Dublin clubs must adhere to the same rules that govern every county in the pass, present and future in regardis to the club champiomship , its up to your club delegates to lodge a complaint

| Why is it a stupid statement??? They are from all over the country but then why are a lot of these peolpe saying its good for the GAA that Dublin won the All Ireland. Why would it not be good if Kerry one again?? Because they know Dublin will bring the money in so they have now done them a "Favour" by delaying the Leinster Championship. I would bet if a smaller county in Leinster won the all Ireland this would not be the case | |

It just goes to show how greedy Gaa repersentives " from all over the country " , like you say because " they know Dublin will bring the money " , I am sure Dublin Gaa worry about their own finances , like all other counties , The Gaa are using Dublin as a marketing tool , thats not Dublin Gaa fault , its greedy gaa repersentives from all over the country I can only say from a Dublin persepective that winning the All Ireland can only be Good for Gaa in Dublin , if others " from all over the country" want to say it good for the Gaa !!! thats there business, I or those involved in Dublin Gaa couldnt careless !! Dublin had to earn the "All Ireland 2011 " Kerry didnt !! simple !! , not unlike Cork 2010 Kerry 2009 /07/06/04 Tyrone 2008 /05 /03 Armagh 2002 Galway 2001 ,all these counties earned it and I think we earned it, other view it differently for many reasons, excuses, and conspircy theories , thats their opinion and they are entitled to it . I agree whole heartedly "That Dublin clubs must adhere to the same rules that govern every county in the pass, present and future in regards to the club champiomship , its up to your club delegates to lodge a complaint" remember thats not Dublin Gaa fault " Its the greedy Gaa repersentives " from all over the country " who have santioned this , Not Dublin GAA" so your comments are STUPID and ill thought ,

Because it's hardly dublin's fault. Other counties have mace similar requests down the years and had them rejected. If you want somebody to blame, then blame Cooney & the Leinster council who agreed to this

| Aside from treating them differently, two genuine worries here that blatantly benefit a team. County boards are under pressure to run off club championships in time for provincial championships, and this has an impact on the county team because it goes against what manager's want and can cause injuries and so on. So Dublin are now allowed avoid this because it's done to suit them.
As regards the actual club scene, every county was playing out their championships in Leinster in a timely fashion and taken into consideration was giving their champions the best chance going forward, therefore playing finals a week or two weeks before Leinster first round. Now, since county finals are already scheduled, champions around the province will be left sitting cold for three weeks or more, while Dublin champions hit the ground running. Astounding call.
Remember in 2008 the Wexford champions had to withdraw after winning county title and being asked to play in Leinster first round next day. Anyone any other instances of how Leinster Council treated teams in the past, proving this is favoritism?

I would think these counties sitting for 3 week would prefer it , more preparation , recovery for injuried players , this may be to other counties advantage if a team from Dublin is playing every week for the next 3 week and fatigue setting in but look you need something to complain about figures

| Not blaming Dublin, saying over the last few weeks the GAA has dabbled in double standards in other to cosy up to the money-making county. That's a dangerous precedent in an amateur sporting organisation. | |

Look at our own setup. 1 round is all that was played when kildare exited the c/ship so.if we won Sam last weekend we too would be stuck in a fixture backlog. Would have been interesting to see how kildare's request would have been looked upon in that situation. A precedent has been set now!
