From what I heard Celbridge had 9 lads playing in this match who played the u21 football 23 hrs beforehand, bit of a joke and they talk about player welfare!!! Co. Board don't care really, they know they'll get a bit of stick at the time from the club involved, but they will also hide behind their phones, not return calls etc, hurling board have no power, they have to revert to fixtures guy, who is from Round Towers (real hurling stronghold!), this lad couldn't care less about hurling or player welfare, be interesting to see if Round Towers were involved would he have changed fixture.
