Heard that the Moorefield v Athy game is on Sunday week which probaly means the Sarsfields v Naas game will be Saturday week.

Cheers Gaa1928, with hurling final replay being on the Saturday, it wouldn't surprise me if it was a double header on the Sunday.

Good point topcat, forgot about the All Ireland replay, I still think they will be looking to get 2 gates out of the semi finals all the same. 3.00 p.m. in St Conleths ( might be tricky for parking ) or God forbid 7.30 p.m. in Hawkfield ????

They will defo be looking for 2 gates so possibly 2 o clock on Saturday and maybe 3.45 on Sunday. Minor or Junior semi finals will probably be played as the curtain raisers.

I think naas are in for a hiding against sarsfields. their tactics against a limited maynooth team were terrible to watch. every time a maynooth man got possession they were fouled almost every time and threw it away to be honest. I think sarsfields got very lucky in the draw, unfortunately the 2 best teams got each other but once your in a final you don't know what could happen.

was in newbridge yesterday for the 2 games,, sash v m/field junior replay was a great game, m/field won after xtime,, c/dermot v kilcock was very poor, kilcock kicked it away with wide after wide,, for me i cant see jtb not winning the inter final

kilcock had 10 wides in frist half , will dan flynn be back for final he left oz after ellistowm match for a trail

Sarsfield 0-19 Naas 1-10 - Sash won in a canter but Gary White probably won't be available for final as he's due to return to the Lebanon

Moorefield 2-09 Athy 0-10 - Moores deservedly won but last 10 minutes were a mess with a lot of silly incidents including a mass brawl - Darryl Flynn got a straight red so presume he misses the final.

I think Daryl was going to miss the final anyway as he's away on honeymoon. I thought he was back close to his best today. Sarsfields were impressive in the first match - they have lots of pace in the team. Should be a good final.

Moorefield v Athy was a pig of a game. Gaelic Football RIP. Ref was poor and lack of sportsmanship shown was very disappointing.

The final is hard to predict. Moorefield have more power around the middle but Sarsfields have more pace throughout the team. I think Sarsfields have the better forwards but Moorefield have been getting goals this year. Too close to call.
