These were on Twitter - no mention of fixtures.

Think first round is on 15th Feb

Ye 1st round 15th Feb and every weekend from then until the finish.

Will be interesting to see how the Club Scene starts this Saturday although a pre season competitions sets a marker going forward for clubs in preparation for league and championship

I'd say there will be a lot of waterlogged pitches around the county with the weather we've had recently. The forecast doesn't look good for the weekend.

Any games called off in the above yet? I know Sash v Straffan in Dowling cup has been moved to Sunday at half 2.

Probably moved because Sarsfields have alot of players in the county minor panel for tomorrows match against cork

Its pretty obvious why its moved Sarsfield first team play on Saturday

In all honesty it is unrealistic, at this time of the year, to expect clubs to be able to field two teams at the same time, vitually impossible actually, espectially when you take out all the players invovled with the various county teams.

I know some people will then say why have two teams entered then but I would perfer a match on a Saturday/Sunday then no match at all if teams are forced to play on the same time.

I cant see too many Matches going ahead tbh.. Maybe Posters can update here as to what Matches are off and what Matches are definitly going ahead.

A lot depends on the type of turf the pitch has, anyone with the sand based ala hawkfield will probably be ok but most of the ordinary pitches will struggle

I know a few of the clubs in Dublin have them now but does any club in Kildare have a full size astro gaa pitch? I think I remember seeing it being in the initial plans for Hawkfield but nothing has come of it as yet!

Maynooth College have a good size astro area not sure if it's actually full size, other than that the pickings are slim with just a cpl of hockey/soccer size pitches around.

I think it was the training area between pitches 2 and 3 that was supposed to be astro in hawkfield, pity one of them isn't but they don't come cheap
