Looking like Moorefield v Sarsfields and Athy v Carbury for the semi-finals.

No real shocks there so... No doubt setting the tone for the rest of the Season.

I would presume that the semi-finals will be moved to Sunday to allow players and supporters to travel to Croke Park. ????

No, these games are going to be fixed for Saturday the 8th, a bit ridiculous but sure they you go!!

The games will be on at half 2 finished and showered and on the road at 4 Kildare match not on till 7 I see no problem with the games going ahead at the normal date and time.

That's fine Stevie for people who want to give over their whole day to GAA. Players will be at semi final venue at least an hour before thrown which will in most cases mean leaving their own club at around 1 o clock if not earlier and then going to Croker straight after and not getting home until close to ten that night. That is serious dedication to the GAA for anyone who engages in that. I would suggest moving semi finals to the Sunday to let people take in both games without having to give up one whole day of your weekend to attend or play in both games!

There is no way players, mentors etc will be finished at 4, what if there is extra time.  What if you are down in the South of the county for example. Seems silly to me and all sides lose support. A joke if it happens.

Just play them at 1pm.

Most sides have lights or can use someone elses to play it friday then

I am all for Saturday matches,100%.  

However our county team are playing the current Leinster and All-Ireland Champions in the Gaa's HQ with hopefully some of my club players involved so maybe a small bit of flexibility could be considered.

Although I am not a player I will be at own ground before both teams arrived and for a while after they have left ( and while I am an firm believer that players are the most important part of match day it does require more then 30 players to make a match happen ).

Don't understand who the 'beer' comment is meant for.

Athy 1:9 maynooth 1:6 .Athy never got out of second gear good player in comerford for maynooth .Very strong lad but needs to practice his kicking .

Both teams missing a few but probably more at stake for Sash than Moorefield after the way last year panned out.
