| Brilliant game of football between Athy and Sarsfields in the Aldridge Cup final in Hawkfield last night, both of these teams will be there or thereabouts when the important trophies are being handed out later in the year. | |

| At a loose end lastnite so took in final the ref was shocking for both teams I believe he had the score wrong at the end of normal time. How this man got the game I'll never understand. 2 linesmen there 1who I didnt know and 1who I regard as 1 of the best in the county. Then to b told hes on the Leinster panel. County pro is jobs for the boys. Step in linesman and finish the job | |
