| And the other three clear strikes in photos alone? This is why people laugh at GAA - sure he can't miss a final. | |

| Why would it be changed to a yellow? He either struck someone or he didn't. On what basis would he be allowed to play in the final if video evidence isn't being used? | |

| Towers could be missing up to 7 Players that played in the Semi Im hearing, trough suspensions, Work and Injuries.. It would be very dangerous for them to go the video route, as while they may get Paul off, they could lose a few more from the brawl.. | |

| Reading the Nationalist today it seems the big lad in midfield for Towers knew he wouldn't be around for the final, probably explains his behaviour at the end of the Castledermot game. Mark Scanlon and Mark Byrne will also miss out through injury as will the sub who was red carded.
Cornish's appeal was heard last night. Any word on the outcome of that?
All those missing players makes it impossible to call. Eadestown are 11/10 on PP but I for one won't be touching it.

| According to Ger McNally's twitter feed, Cornish's appeal was upheld and he is free to play the final. | |

| That's not the point. He was red carded, that's an automatic one game suspension. I'd love to know on what basis the ban was over-turned, there was no video evidence used. Will O'Keeffe now appeal his red to be able to play in next year's first round?

| Red Carded in the wrong.. Bottom line, and Justice prevails.. O Keeffe was wrong, so why should His be recinded ? Anyone who witnessed it would Know the right decision has being made here. | |

| He didn't deserve a red, but again, that's not the point. He was red carded therefore he should serve a one game ban. Did the referee turn up to the appeal and admit he was wrong?
Edit: Appears he got off on a 'technicality'.. Laughable stuff. | |

| I would assume the Official / Officials would have admitted under advice that they made a mistake, and thats fine, anyone can make a mistake, its admitting to it. | |

| I think the Majority would back this decision.. In fairness to the Officials on the Day, the Ball was down the far end and they wouldnt have seeing the incident start.. like most incidents, its assumed it takes Two to tango.. in this instance in was very much a One sided Waltz. | |

| Good luck to both teams tomorrow along with the minors looks like its going to be a good day for it, I think Towers will just edge it.
