That's almost as good as the lad who dismissed the intermediate final as being intermediate standard

| The point was that the Game itself was of a poor standard, and maybe Towers werent up to the A Championship and should have being in the B Championship instead, as maybe the Result showed.. Why is that "bullsh-te" ?, I dont think any Team would be "sore losers", when they get beat by that much.. Who do Leixlip Play next ? | |

| Was that the towers team that won the A minor a couple of years ago. Don't see how they wouldn't be able for the A championship. Plenty of them involved with towers senior team this year i thought | |

| It was their Minor A winning team from a few years ago minus 3 or 4. It was a weak championship that year in my opinion. Towers won the U21 A Championship in 2006 but that didn't do much for their Senior team either, they've been on a downward slump ever since.
I find it a bit strange that the formats are all different in each of the championships. What's that all about?
Anyway, mostly guess work..

towers were missing even flynn, aaron mc conville, mark byrne, niall fleming, dj flynn, conor leavy, tadhg meaney lastly davy o neill and harry seamore only played the last few minutes due to work commitments most most of these would start for any team in the county

Nurney for C, head or heart Taibi? Like I said, mostly guessing really. Nurney won the Minor C three years ago so they will be in with a shout. They beat Caragh 6-8 to 0-3 in the first round so they will take beating.

| I think castledermot will give athy a good game but athy should prevail I hope we win but could be tight I'd go for maynooth win but it could be very very close, Sean Higgins is injured but I think Neil Flynn will be the difference | |

| Personally I think this Competition is on the way out unless it is revamped very soon.. For Me its far too important an Age Group to be stuck in at the end of the Year, with the CB very obviously not too concerned.. I think its probably even more important for the smaller Clubs, as its the stepping stone from Minor to Senior.. If a Player isnt up to Senior straight out of Minor, then there isnt too many options, especially with smaller Clubs now struggling to get out 2nd Teams.. What would be wrong with running the Aldridge Cup etc as u21 Championships ? | |

At this Age Group at Minor, Celbridge defeated Castledermot.. Hense I suppose that Castledermot beating Athy at the Weelend wasnt that big a shock.. Towers won the Minor the following Year.
