| With all due respect it was Carlow. We should be winning comfortably with the talent available to us at that level. | |

| Good win despite spurning several goal chances in the 2nd half. Kildale were very good in the 10 mind before half time, serious pace through out the team and the amount of times they turned Galway over was very impressive. Galway played most if the 2nd half with 14. | |

| Good win. Feely and the small full forward from TMH (name gone on me!) were good. Took the foot off the pedal a bit against 14 men in the second half, I thought. | |

| Much stronger team out today. Hard to know how strong Galway's line up was.
I hope players like Healy and Flynn are not playing again for their college teams tomorrow. | |

| This is our strongest team and panel for quite some time. The same full back line as last year is a huge plus. Midfield looked strong. And Then the forwards speak for themselves. Only big name player that I can think of that didn't feature was Wayne Fitzpatrick anybody know the story with him? Also athy had a young corner back playing in th senior champ does anyone know if he's on the panel. Feely looks a real talent | |

| Tomas Foley? Not sure if hes on the panel . Dont remember him on county minor teams but he was good for Athy in senior championship. Wayne Fitzpatrick is one who we definitely need, hes in the army so hopefully is available.I would play him and maybe move Feely to midfield which is an area i think needs to be shaken up from last year. | |

| He's in the army based in Galway and not involved due to the 4 and a half hour round trip 3 times a week. . But I agree with lilly. Murphy should do everything in his power to get him in. I expect this team to go a fair bit this term. | |

| That's fair enough but even having him on the bench would b a huge asset | |

| I heard Murphy invited him in but he declined the offer for whatever reason. County football is just not for everyone I suppose. | |
