| Thurles should hold good memories for the players after the Cork game last July. | |

Tipp pulled this same stunt for the Offaly game..... The Tipp town pitch was very heavy & I suspect smaller than Semple........... Tactics ????

| I think it's more to do with anything hurling getting prioritised over the football. | |

| Is there an sporting organisation that messes around its core support more than the GAA. To move it again a week before after it had already been moved twice and now when people have made plans is just wrong. If Tipp have done this themselves then Croke Park should have stepped in.
Poor from Tipperary. But not surprising.

| Pure sh*te, unacceptable in my opinion.
Where are the health and safety Zealot's. No way can this third choice ground be up to scratch. If they can't provide a suitable venue then they should be made play it on Neutral ground or forfeit home advantage.
Just had a quick look on Google maps and it's not fit for a league game. Not one seat for those who need one, grass banks most of the way around. How can they get permission to play it there.
Kildare GAA should be all over this like a rash. Alas it appears we have a backbone made of jelly.

| It's a decent size pitch Rex. But not up to it as regards facilities. And forget about parking other than the dunnes stores car park a fair bit down the road. | |

| They didn't cut Newbridge's capacity because of the size of the pitch. If the facilities are not up to scratch it should not be played there.
If their hurlers had to play, then it would be in Thurles.

| Pitch apparently has small "stands" both sides but no seating. In this day and age you'd think the GAA might insist on minimum standards such as the availability of at least a small number of seats for the elderly and disabled. Even with St Conleth's you can make sure you've a seat if you go reasonably early.
Meanwhile Semple Stadium can miraculously host a hurling tie today.
