I am just looking at all the revisionism that goes on in sport these days in terms of people and pundits making calls and then halfway through the year saying something completely different while conveniently forgetting what they previously said.
eg August: United will run City close this year. Now: How are United expected to compete with City?!

So with that in mind, I think we should make our predictions in the next few days and make a pledge to come back next year and admit we were wrong/ smugly tell everyone we knew best...

Kildare lose by nine in Leinster final to Dublin but make Super 8s, where Newbridge is deemed unfit thus we are put on as a warm-up act for one of Dublin's laps of honour.

I'm putting this in writing, Flamingo, on the philosophical basis that if you state the worst possible scenario publicly it is less likely to happen! Smile

(Not sure which philosopher, if any, came to that conclusion but I'll go with it anyway and gladly eat humble pie in due course).

Possibly not.. there may be other flaws in my predictions as well. E.g. I'm not sure Mayo would stop short at 3 own goals.

Might as well have a go. Bit more confident than some, maybe foolishly so.

I'm always superstitious so here's my tuppence worth!!
Retain Division 1 with a last goal winner against Galway - finally a win over those f*****s
Reach Leinster final, Match Dublin for 60 mins. Ref blows up the game early with Roly coming off the bench to grasp a 61st minute winner.........
Last 8 with all games in Tullamore. We play the Semi-final in Tullamore also and win the All Ireland beating Kerry. Tullamore is our fortress.

We are allowed into the Intermediate because we did not win it when we were promoted out of it in the 80s when Jacko came. We defeat Kilcock in the final. We then surprise all by beating Moorefield in the Senior final with 10 men........
