| Just back from Enniskillen, long enough to calm down, and there is no redemption around the corner on this one, pathetic is too kind a word, the last chance saloon is out of liqueur, " Next.........".. | |

| It’s a case of the Emperors new clothes with CON.
He got off Scott free having went a year without winning a game, and being beaten by Carlow. A national campaign motivated his players (something he clearly can’t do) to beat Mayo and spare CON his job.
As everybody has already stated the world and his dog knew how Fermanagh would set up tonight, we played into their hands - went in at half time having scored 3 points (1 from play) - so what did CON change at half time - fuck all - went out in the 2nd half and played the very same way, with (amazingly) the very same results, 3 points (none from play).
If I hadn’t wasted 9 hrs of my life travelling up and down to witness that shite, I’d never have believed how bad it was.

| It seems that it wasn't just the blanket defence. Like, it would be one thing if we dominated but just couldn't break through but it sounds like Fermanagh played us off the park, particularly in the first half. Had they been a bit more accurate, they'd have been out of sight.
I wonder was there a huge difference in the weather between Enniskillen and Tralee? The pitch and the conditions can't be excuses. 0-6 in 70 minutes of football is pathetic.

| Just watched back Kerry v Dublin and yes there was a big difference in the conditions, weather in Eniskillen was much better, no wind or rain to speak of. An extremely poor performance by Kildare backward sideways backward again then a turnover. Against teams like that, hoofing it in can sometimes be the best option.
Our discipline is atrocious as well, played 6 games this season and have had a player sent off in 3 of them. This has to be one of O Neills priorities over the next few weeks.

| While the results v both Armagh and Cork were dogged and gutsy.. if we're honest, we got outa jail a bit in both.. last night was just chronic.. how is it even possible to only score ONE Point from play in 70 plus minutes .. fck sake it's Inter County Football.. and as was well flaged on here all Week, how Fermanagh were gonna set up.. I give up. | |

| Horrible, horrible game to watch but i knew it would be. Error count was huge, granted they made life difficult but too many poorly executed kicks and sloppy handpasses. As bad as it was to watch it must have been much worse to play in. | |

| Fermanaghs league and champ form 2019 Kildare 8 - 6 Tipp 2-5 a piece Cork 1-5 to 8 Ferm
Champ 2018 Beat Armagh 12 to 7 having lost to them in Div3 final and drawn in league. Beat Monaghan.
Hammered by Donegal and KILDARE. Missing 5 or 6 from that day.
2018 League lost by 2 to Westmeath and 2 to Armagh in Final.
They are a horrible team to play against but you have to respect their record. Tough to score against and beat unless you are on top form.
Missing a third of a team from last year reflected.
No doubt it was horrendous and there are learnings but i would pay more attention to performance against Donegal, Tipp, Clare and Meath than this.

| It’s just Groundhog Day under O’Neill, the same defects keep costing us. Panicky under pressure, can’t unpick blanket defences, no discipline.
As for next game, morale will be shaky, and Clare have some pacy players who tend to exploit the space in our defence. They might be due a win against us.
Struggling to find silver lining on this one.

| Some nice stats doing rounds on Twitter...
The last time we only managed one point from play in a game: 1983. Also probably last time we finished a match with 15 men.

| Learnings, no offence ixus this squad should have PHd's in the amount of Learnings we are supposed to have taken in. I just can't get over we scored one point from play in 74 minutes. If they had of kept having a go from distance they would probably get 4 out of 10.
I genuinely starting to think it's the manager who has them playing this way. There are too many decent footballers to play that badly in that manner. It's just an overnight thing either. Carlow illuminates last year like a beacon.
I don't know what the answer is, because I don't know the right question. Is it the players, is it the tactics, is it the manager or is it all three. One step forward 5 steps back.

| Carlow should be a distant memory but not forgotten. Shouldn't use a stick to beat players with.
I've shown Fermanagh are a nightmare. They've conceded 6.3 scores per game this league and smothered Armagh and Monaghan with it last year.
Kildare learned and destroyed it last year.
A lot of new players and I'm sure Fermanagh used last year as motivation. Nl
Need to be better at parking results and not carrying the negativity.

| With the results the way they went today we could easily be relegated. A win last night would have had us sitting top a point clear. We really bottled it. | |

| Clare 3-13 Cork 1-10, Cusack Park Meath 2-13 Armagh 0-13, Páirc Tailteann Tipperary 3-09 Donegal 0-13, Semple Stadium
Some comprehensive wins alright. Could be relegated, could be promoted. Everyone on 3/4 points except Cork.

| We still have to play those 3 teams who won today. It might be that our first 2 games were against the weakest teams in this division. Our opponents are all scoring goals, we are not and are relying on our goalkeeper to stop conceding more. I genuinely think relegation is a option now. Hard to believe I know. | |

| Certainly no easy games, and it could go either way for us now.. CON needs to step up now, as relegation just isn't acceptable.. | |

| Clare game has taken on huge significance now. A defeat and it’s going to be a long remainder of league. Hugely worrying that we looked so devoid of ideas both on pitch and sideline last night. You’d to worry that players aren’t putting in a proper shift for management at best of times

| We lose a lot of games and produce some dreadful performances under CON. His record can't be much better than Jason's at this stage. I hope Davy Burke sticks around and gets his chance in the near future. We can't afford to be too loyal to a manager if we keep producing performances like last night. | |
