| That's me off the beer for the next two months so!!......... hopefully I think it will demean the competition having mid week replays (3 games in a week for the winners). Players deserve better. I know they will cite the looming leinster club champ as the reason but it is most certainly not ideal!! | |

| It's probably great for the viewing public to have the championship so condensed but it is unfair on the ordinary club player.
We'll have to address this before next year and try to have another round or two played off in late spring/early summer. This year was a bit of a freak with the county team (6 games in 6 weeks) but hopefully next year we'll be able to reach some sort of compromise and schedule a round or two during the summer.
If the likes of Kerry and Cork can do it, why can't we?

| This was to be expected. Good for us fans alright but sure since when do the GAA care about players? | |

If the likes of Kerry and Cork can do it, why can't we? Also the decision to increase the number of games in the group stage to 4 looks a little misguided now.

| I think it would be interesting to somehow integrate the league and champsionship. I think that is the way the All Ireland series will eventually go to.
Not sure if this is workable but my initial thoughts would be. League should dictate the seedings for the senior championship 16. Then when Kildare are out start the championship based on the league seedings 1-16 so everyone knows who they get. 1 playing 16 etc.
Then work it over 5 weekends using a back door system where all losers get a second chance up to the semi final.
